Hi, Tina. I'm interested in info on CARL FRIEDRICH DIDERICH PIERSTORFF, B. 26 AUG 1810 Beidendorf, Mechlenburg, Germany; D. 6 OCT 1889, Middleton, Dane, Wisc; Carl's wife, HANNA CATHARINA MARIA BRENNER/BREMER, B. 30 OCT 1810; M. 1 Dec 1836, Gross Trebblow, Mech, Germ.; D. 1868, Middleton, Wisc. and their CHILDREN. I have family records & some online info, but am looking for: --names of children who survived to adulthood&marriages&military service, if any, of those children; --arrival date&name of boat the P's used from Germany (no luck so far searching 1855-1868 online records); --& any info on siblings of Carl & Hanna (especially Carl's brother who went to Norway). thanks in advance.

DOTTIE,
A LOT OF MY INFO I DID GET OFF OF FAMILYSEARCH.ORG, THE REST WAS FROM THE DANE CO. COURTHOUSE. I ONLY KNOW CARL'S BROTHER'S NAME WAS JOHANN JOCHEM CHRISTIAN PIERSTORFF AND THAT HE WAS BORN ABT. 2-5-1807, GERMANY. I HAD NO IDEA HE WENT TO NORWAY. CARL AND HANNA'S CHILDREN THAT SURVIVED WERE:

MARINA, SHE MARRIED AN UNK. MUELLER.

AUGUSTUS MARRIED ELIZA MITCHELL ON 11-2-1866, SPRINGDALE, DANE CO., WI.

PETER(ANDREAS) MARRIED LISETTE FINDORFF ON 9-28-1892, MIDDLETON, DANE CO. I THINK HER MAIDEN NAME MAY HAVE BEEN HARLOFF.

SOPHIA MARIA (MARIE) MARRIED HANS LOHFF ON 3-15-1867, MT. HOREB, DANE CO.

CARL MARRIED AN UNK. PRIEN.

AGNES MARRIED WILLIAM BOTKER ON 11-30-1869, MIDDLETON, DANE CO.

CAROLINE ANNA MARIA MARRIED JOHN T. CLAYTON ON 12-25-1869.

Tina:

Looking for info on my Grand-Uncle Dr. Homer Meade Buckner's wife Marie Pierstorff.

All I have to-date is from this "Mt. Horeb-Presettlement to 1986," book excerpt: "On November 4, 1918, five Mt. Horeb businessmen went to Prairie du Sack to induce Dr. Homer M Buckner to set up an office here [in Mt. Horeb]. The prospect of having an operating room was a proposition he could not resist. Dr. and Mrs. (Marie) Buckner arrived in Mt. Horeb on Armistice Day, 1918. ....he purchased the spacious three story residence at 408 East Main Street, Built by Onon B. Dahle in 1895.

"....[Dr.] H. M. Buckner...retained several of the elegant rooms on the first floor for living quarters for himself and his new bride, Marie Pierstoff. ..."

Do you have any additional information on Marie?

Thanks, Susan M. Buckner

All this talk about Middleton Wisconsin.

I have the Bingers and through marriage the Cordes, Elver, Lohff, Zarndt all of Middleton. Especially interested if someone has information regarding the Lohffs.

This is an old thread so I hope some of you are still around.
