Hello,
I don't have any info on the Pollon history, however your message caught my eye.
My maiden name is Pollon and I don't have any info on my family tree at all. I was wondering if there is any connection?
Thank you
Wendy

Hi Wendy:

My maiden name is Pollon as well. My great great grandfather is Henry Pollon, his father William Pollon, not John Pollon as I had thought. If you would like to correspond to see if we are related let me know and I can check through the information I have.

If you need information on the name Pollon contact Ina Benson of Manatoba Canada. Her maden name was Pollon.
She is my great Aunt my Grand Fathers sister. She is a retired school teacher who has done an extensive historical resaerch on the name Pollon and how it came from England to Canada. She made a historical book compleat with old photographs name occupations etc. It is very extensive. My father has a copy of this book as do many of my relitives. But Ina is the person you want to speak. She should be in her seventies by now but is quick as a whip.

Ny great grandmother's maiden name was Elizabeth Pollen. She came from Canada and was married to a man named Edward Durrent. They migrated to South Dakota, St Louis, MO, and finally Los Angeles, CA. My father made contact with someone in Canada in 1999 but after my mother and father died (1999 &2001) I could not make contact again.
