Looking for family history regarding Mary Pooler
and her adoption. We have limited information which
we are not sure is actual. B: 2/1847 in East Broughton,
Quebec, Canada. adoptive parents: Lawrence and Rose (Grimes)
M: 10/1868 in Waterville, Kennebec County, Maine.

George Pooler b. 1781 married Cynthia Weston.They may have had a son named George. I am researching the descendents of George pooler who married Abigail Steward in 1777 in Caanan, Meine. Therir children were John, Mary, Joseph, and George.George.

I really am also looking for Levi Pooler. Could be the same one referred to by Rose Jensen's e-mail of Jan 6,2000. My ancester was also in Maine sometime in his life and could be the Levi she referred to as the son of Geo. Pooler and his second wife.
