I am looking fro information on the Sharrah family from Arkansas.
Albert Sharrah married Rosa Teresa Shelly and together had six children.
5 girls and 1 boy. The girls were Nona Lou Sharrah, Callie May Sharrah,
Anna Sharrah, Pearl Sharrah, Lottie Sharrah, and Roy Sharrah. Callie May
was my great grandmother. I am looking for any informationa t all on the
family. Thanks

Hi, I have some information on the Sharrah family, Alebert(Elbert) Sharrah was a the brother of my our grandmother, He had 6 brothers and sisters. He had 11 children. I can copy my charts and mail to you or I can email what I have put will take a while to type in, Is there any thing special you are looking for? we can chat on line if you want to and I can try and anwer your questions. my aol name is Kaualoha will watch for you.

My Albert or Elbert only had six children I thought!

Hi I will add you to my yahoo message so can talk to you. I have letter written from one of Albert or Elbert Sharrah's daughters. but I do have more family history but still working on it, but I have enough to help in the tracking. will email what I have but will take me a while to type. I will work on it later today and send some tonight. I have never meet anyone looking for same line before. This is great.

Are you sure that your Albert is the same as mine, becasue mine was married to Rosa
Teresa Shelley and I believe only had seven children so I am not sure if they are the same.
Also who were the parents of your Albert? Thanks and even if they are not the same, I would still love to communicate.

Yes I am sure, I have a letter written to my mom from his daughter Nona Boyd. Albert was her father and Rose her mother. She is the the one that listed the children, When my mom wrote her, she had missed some and Nona added them. This is the order she wrote them:Pearl,Callie,Walter,James, Mary Lou, John,Lottie,Roy, Kelly, Annie and Nona. Nona told us she was next to the youngest and that one sister was living in a nursing home but didn't tell us which one. The rest were all dead already. She also said they were not listed in order Hope this helps you some.

I forgot you asked me about the parents. I have they were Jacob N Sharrah and Charlotte Elizabeth Micheals(Mickel). She was called Betty. they are both buried in Natural Dam Ark at Hall cemetery.

Well, Courtney there is a huge list of Sharrah's still in arkansas I'm sure I can call my aunt if you would like. She has done an unimaginable amount of research on our family. I believe she has records all the way back to europe and what not.

I noticed in one of your replies you stated your aunt traced the sharrah name back to europe.Could you tell me if she found any in the east riding of Yorkshire, in particular a place called Hull,thanks for any help you send my way.
