Hi, I live near Harrison, Arkansas and am working on my ancestry and saw your message. My mother's maiden name is Ventres. Are you related to any that you know of from Missouri? Most of them were from Missouri, I think. Her father's name was George L. Ventres 1900-1978 and her Mother's was Myrtle (Jackson) Ventres 1902-1983. I think there were several George Ventres men in the family (either George Lewis or George Clinton. I don't know if this will help or not but I do know that the name is not very common. Hope it helps.

William Ventres

Sorry! Don't know of any Ventres on my side of the family that ventured beyond the confines of big old Connecticut. But if you know of one who did escape, let me know and we can trade info. Ernie Ghent
