I am interested in exchanging information with other descendants of this man. I have privately printed a book on his descendants and the allied lines of Curnutt and Albrecht/Albright.

If this is the Abraham Villines who was born in Virginia, moved to North Carolina with Thomas Villines, married a McKissick, then settled in Newton County, Arkansas, where he died, I am a descendant. Believe he was the great grandson of Isaac Velines, who arrived in Virginia from Bristol, England, in 1700.

Hello Phillip, We have corresponded before, and yes we are working on the same family. I have privately printed a book on the this family, along with allied lines Curnutt and Albright. I also have data on the Farmer family that is not in the book.

Beverly,

I don't believe I have your current email. I am pdeaton@aol.com. I am interested in buying a copy of your book, and I have turned up several other cousins and a "Villines Home Page" as well. Please email direct.

Yes, Abraham and Thomas married sisters (Nancy and Sally, respectively), both daughters of William McKissick, son of John McKissick. There has been some question, though, as to the identity of Martha, Abraham's second wife, and whether he had children by her....

Beverly,
Why don't you put the information for your book on the myfamily site. I'm sure others on the site will be interested. I found some good info in your book so I recommend it.

Hi Marlyne, Thanks for the suggestion and the kind words about the book. Which area of the My Family Site do you think would be most appropriate to post that information?
