From the 1881 Census.

5 Ford Street Salford
Henry Hawthorn , Age 46, Brn in Budworth
Harriett Hawthorn, wife, Age 48, Brn in Manchester
William Hawthorn, son, Age 17, Brn in Salford
George Wolstenholme, son, Age 21, Brn in Salford

9 Ford Street Salford
William Wolstenholme Age 25, Brn in Manchester
Jane Wolstenholme, wife, Age 21, Brn in Salford
Sarah Ann Wolstenholme, Age 2,

13 Ford Street, Salford
Arthur Hoolichan, Age 26, Brn in Salford
Alice Diana Hoolachan/nee Wolstenholme*, Age 22, Brn in Salford
George Arthur, Age 4, Brn in Salford
Thomas, Age 5 months, Brn in Salford.

I believe Harriett ? Hawthorn,
mother of George Wolstenholme was
previously married to ? Wolstenholme
and that George, William and Alice
Diana are siblings. I think
Harriett ? And ? Wolstenholme divorced
(not likely) or ? Wolstenholme died
between 1860-1863 and Harriett married
Henry Hawthorn. Henry Hawthorn and
Julia Conway were witnesses to the
marriage of Arthur Hoolichan and Alice
Diana Wolstenholme (November 5th, 1876).
I am interested in any supporting or
additional information on these families.
