Does anyone know how many children Luke Drawdy had with his three wives? I only know of one daughter and would like to know if there were anymore children.

Barbara, I don't know if we have the same Luke Drawdy, or not, but my great grandfather was, Smith Dade Drawdy, who was Lukes brother, and my mothers father was Charle Drew Drawdy. I have a lot of research
and papers, and if I can help you feel free to e-mail me @ wgmcle@yahoo.com.
I sort of remember Uncle Luke, and I know his 2 daughters, Meda Murray Drawdy (Rust)
and Linnie Margaret (Curry). They both live in Avon Park, Fla.
That is, if we are talking about the same Luke Drawdy.

Wanda, We are talking about the same family but a different Luke. You are refering to Tildon Luke. I'm refereing to Smith Dade's brother, Luke. It sometimes takes me months to make a connection in my head. hahaha...This morning a light went on.....

Luke Drawdy is indeed related... however, it's not your grandfather's brother. Luke's brother, Smith Dade Drawdy, was the father of Tildon Luke. I come from the same line. My gg grandfather was Corneilus Drawdy, 1838-1886. He was one of the middle brothers. Corneilus aka Neil, Luke, Smith Dade and George W. were the youngest. We are certainly cousins and I would be thrilled to share my information. I have been to the Corinth Cemetery several times and photographed the graves. I have also been to the Drawdy-Rouse Cemetery in Orlando and photographed Luke and Smith Dade's mother's grave. Please contact me so we can share some solid data.
