I recently learned that there are supposed to be Diaries of David A Fateley of Indiana through the Indiana Histrorical Society. Can anyone help??

This David is from the same family, but he was married to an Abbie Smith in Indiana. I have obtained a copy of the mentioned Diary and find it to be so interesting.

Hi Dan / Nancy, Dan I believe that our David Fateley died approx 1853 which would be shortly prior to the Civil war. There is another David F. who did have quite a record in the war. I think he was the son of one of the 3 Fateley Bros. therefore a nephew of our David & Mary Winterrowd. Nancy are you related to the Fateley line?? Fred C.

I am a 2 x great grand daughter of David Allen Fateley, born 13 Jan 1838. In addition, I am a descendant of the Girton line in Shelby County, Indiana also.
