Not sure if this is any help. I am new to research, but my grandmother, Agnes Moravec married Josef Kubicek from Jedli, Moravia. Father was John Moravec, Mother was Barbara Diblik. I do know there is a Pospisil connection, but I have to go dig that info out. I have never been able to find the locality of my grandmother's family, although I know she was was Bohenia. This would be so great!
I have more details and willing to share.
Immigrated to MI in 1912 via NY and Chicago.

Yes, I would be very happy to share info to see if we can find a tie with our Pospisil ancestors. I don't have much, but maybe it will be enough to connect. zima@edmail.com

I am searching the Rokyta surname as well as others. I really need soime help. I do not know what village/town my great grandfather came to. I believe his mother was Anna Balusek. My great gpa was Frank J. Rokyta b 1868 d 1948. He came to Texas in 1894. I also believe that his mother married his father. Something happened to him and then she remarried to Mr Joe Pecena.

ANy help would be great.

Hello,

I am sorry to say I know very little about my Rada ancestors. I will give you what I do know...

My gggg grandmother was Barbora Rada born 18 January 1777
in house #7 in the village of Dedice. Her parents were
Jan Rada and Katerina Pospisil and they were married in the village of Trebetin on 22 November 1767.

Jan Rada's father was Votech Rada, village of Dedice Justice of the Peace.

My info says that my Rada's were subject to the Tupadly Manor.

If you are interested, I would be happy to send you a copy of this info which also lists other surnames, witnesses, etc. Do you think we have a Rada connection?

Interested in MORAVEC from Chlum, which is in Caslav area, I believe. My Great-Grandmother was Katerina Moravec (born around 1865). Her parents were Michael Moravec and Anna Fajtova. Katerina married Josef Kohl and lived in Krucemburk, Bohemia, not very far from Chlum, I understand. They had 13 children. I believe Katerina Moravec Kohl had a sister Antonia who married Frank Stary and immigrated to Chicago area before 1902.
