Hi,

This is the only James and Mary Taylor that I found in Utah during that time frame.

In 1900 they were living in Millville, Cache, UT.
James G. Taylor, b. UT Nov 1862.
Mary A., wife, b. UT April 1867 with the following list of children; Ivy, Allen, Bessie, Meralda, Alice, and Ira.

If this isn't the correct James Taylor where was he born? When did they live in Wayne Co.?

Hi,

I searched Ancestry and FamilySearch and didn't come up with any information about james. The Wayne County Clerk, www.waynecountyne.org/index.aspx?nid=106 has death certificates. Successful Searching!

Donna,
You posted in the Wayne County, Utah board, any reason for posting here?

I see you are relatively new to posting on Rootsweb (at least under this user name). It is very helpful to post the information you have on persons you seek. Since you have a posted family tree, post the link. That helps identify what you already know, don't get information you already have and prevent those that can't find information from asking a bunch of questions about persons that aren't correct.

The Illinois Marriage Index shows James Taylor marriage to Leathy M Tishmal, Feb 1899 in Macoupin County.

The Madison County Probate Files show a James Taylor, but the database is identified as only going to 1903.

It seems all of your research would be in Illinois.
