I am a distant cousin, I have been working on our family history since 1999. The first Henry Taggett was born in 1892 to Fred Taggett and Mary Gilespie,they were not married, he died 11/1930 in Tuscaloosa. This Henry is your ggrandfather.Mary married Charlie Lewis in 1900, 12 children were born, my grandmother-Lelar.
I did a family book in 2004. Just recently started researching again since the 1940 census came out.
