That's the kind of crap you settle for when you outsource to a foreign country to lower costs and screw the customer out of value-added services. I saw many other poor grammatical errors in their ads too.
It's all about greed.

Perhaps it's a proper warning to customers: we lack attention to detail.

It may also be the tip of a marketing approach after going private (from being a publicly held company).

How much money into developing ancestry.com vs developing FTM?

Ancestry.com = cash cow
FTM = is it an insignificant part of structure now? What is percent of revenues from FTM vs ancestry.com subscriptions?

FTM used to be the gateway into ancestry. It looks now like that that situation may be reversed - ancestry.com is driving a few customers towards FTM.

Inquiring minds would like to know....??

We'll probably learn more as time goes on.

When I first read about "more" stuff synchronizing between Ancestry.com and FTM, I wondered what that meant. The lack of a complete sync is the one thing that makes using FTM with synchronized trees so risky. (I speak from the experience of work lost due to broken syncs.) I assume because they didn't go into detail here that they didn't fix this serious shortcoming. Any idea what's now synchronized that wasn't previously? Notes? Media categories? Comments? Media file names? Media changes?

I can't answer that one since I haven't moved up/over to 2014.

Hey, you can't say for sure that this came from someone who does English as a second language. I don't think we teach spelling in the USA anymore either.
