Re-Installing FTM 2014 on Laptop

My PC is being repaired. In the meantime I am using my Laptop that does not have FTM installed to work on Ancestry. Whilst I have backups of the files and Gedcom on an external hard-drive I don't have the FTM Installation Programme installed. I still have the original discs (FTM 2006 + Upgrades 2012 & 2014). Is it possible to use these? I am not particularly computer literate, I have only just realised I could have copied but now it's too late for that option.

If you are using 2014 on the other machine, just grab the 2014 CD and install it.
Then copy the FTM files and media folder or a "backup" file to the laptop, and use them until the main machine is back.
Then you will need to copy the current FTM file back to the main machine.

Thanks David,

The 2014 CD is only an Upgrade (Original 2006 and Upgraded 2012) - must I install the original CD also?

I have never seen a "Update" version of FTM.
They have all been new versions that do not require an earlier version to be installed.
