Hi,
My great-grand mutter's brother was born in Poland on 24 January 1913. His name is Pawel (Paweł) Cempura (he lived near Bochnia, Krakow). In 1949 he migrated to Australia after World War II.
There is some Information of Immigrant Ships;
Canberra, that I find in the net:
Departure Port: Naples, Italy
Departure Date: 30 Aug 1949
Arrival Port: Fremantle - Australia
Arrival Date: 16 Oct 1949.
Next he moved (I do not know where) and worked at a sawmill. The owner of the sawmill was a widowed woman. Pawel Cempura tried to married her, but I do not know what happend next. :(
Have you ever herad about CEMPURA Family in Australia?
I am looking forward to hearing from you :)

Hi,
Canberra isn't where Pawel lived it is just where the naturalisation/immigration records are kept.

If you check Australian Electoral Rolls on Ancestry you will find Pawel (Paul) living in Casino NSW

He married Kathleen Mona EDWARDS in 1951
(google NSW BDM)
5319/1951 CERPURA PAUL to EDWARDS KATHLEEN MONA at CASINO

His wife died in 1981

Pawel (Paul) died in 1998

Hi,
I really can't thank you enough. That is very useful information. That is an absolute shock for my family. I must add that my aunt tried to find him in 1960, but without success. Heh, there was no internet access :)
Can anyone help me to find Paul's children?

There is an Historical Society who might have some recovd suggest you look at their site www.richhistory.org.au or email research@richhistory.org.au
NSW births are only indexed online to 1911.

Hi

Paul is buried at Urbenville Cemetery. Kathleen Mona is buried Casino Lawn Cemetery.

Note - Kathleen Mona (nee GARDNER) was born 1910 from an online public tree at ancestry it says that she was married three times firstly to Leo Edwards in 1928 and that she had 4 children then to Roy Morrison and had one child and then to Paul Cempura but doesn't mention any children.

You may want to try and contact the family tree owner. Link below to site.

Thanks to everyone! These informations helped me to find a place where my great-uncle lived and place where is he buried. Up to now my family don't knew what happened with Paul Cempura. I'm deeply grateful.
That would be nice to find a photo of Paul's Headstone.
