I'm looking for information on the Brennans of Tobercurry, Co. Sligo. My great, great grandfather, James Hubert Brennan, was born there in 1842. My grandfathers family had a tradition of naming their first born daughter Ismay. If anyone has any information or knows of someone who could help please let me know.

Thank-you.

I am also looking for information regarding my great grandfather who's name was Bartholmeo Brennan. I believe he was married during the early part of the 1880's to a lady named Catherine Keenan. They had 15 children between the years of 1885 - 1910. Bartholmeo died in 1927 and is buried in Tubbercurry. All I know of Bartholmeo is that he had a twin brother (name unknown) who immigrated to the US and resided in Mass. If this person appears to be a decendent of your gr gr grandfather please contact me. It may be possible that Bartholmeo is your gr gr grandfather's son. The years are about right as well as the location.
