Hi,

Hello,

I'm not a descendant, but can provide you with some death details.

An Irene Gertrude Lackington died in 1981, aged 93.
A Francis Cripps Lackington died in 1995, aged 78.

Buried together:

Kathleen Anne Lackington died in 2005, aged 92.
John Frederick Lackington (you already have the year)in 1987, aged 76.

There are other entries for Lackington whose names you may be familiar with.

To find their burial/creamation details, Google 'Necropolis Deceased Search' (Springvale Botanical Cemetery).

Kind regards, Anne

Dear Phillippe,

I'm writing in response to your search for cousins in Melbourne.
My name is John Lackington. Irene was my Grandmother, my father was Frank C. Lackington (son of Irene). John F Lackington and Kathleen, my Uncle and Aunt. Also, another uncle named Richard (dec) and his wife Jean.

Hi John

Thank you so much for responding to my message.

Your grandmother, Irene, was my great grand mother's younger sister. Which, according to my calculations, makes us 2nd cousins.

If you're willing I would really appreciate any further information you have on my extended family out in Australia!

Best wishes
Philippe
