I would like to trace the birth details of George Edward Everett, born about 1844. Does anybody know where he was born? It doesn't seem likely it was in Australia.

I only have his father's name - Edward.

He died in South Australia in 1929.

George married Mary Ann Saviour Holland in 1866 in South Australia and they had many children.

We're looking for firm information of his place of birth and if possible his mother's name as well.

The 1842 birth may not be our guy as his relative tells me he was born in 1844 but she does not know where and she's wanting to find out. The death date is right.

What are you talking about - this is your guy and the birth date is only a guesstimate.

Have all the dates of his children, showing both parents.

The relative was unsure if George was born in England but it looks like he was!

Finding his arrival is vital.
Have you tried SA Archives,,,,to see if he was assisted?
