Info on Charles Harris b-1811 d-1886 and wife Winifred (nee sharp)b-1811 d-1870. Both arrived with children to Western Australia aboard ship Diadem 1842. Both died in Wagga Wagga NSW Australia. Request info for mentioned couple and children/family.

Children's names: David, Ebenezer,Maria, George, Harriet,Hannah,Amelia,Charles. Ebenezer and Maria stayed in Western Australia, I think George, Harriet, Hannah, Amelia, Charles travelled with parents to NSW approx 1867-69, and David followed later with his wife Ellen Gallagher and children in 1868. Have found records for George in Wagga Wagga d-1907 and wife Catherine Oliver but nothing for other children in NSW.
David,Ebenezer,Maria,George and Harriet were born prior to WA arrival in 1842, other children born in WA.
Already have records for Ebenezer and some on sister Maria but very little on remaining family and parents.

Both WA and NSW BMD index are free online.Ancestry has a range of other data,along with public trees.

By Lois Tilbrook, and would love to know if you have any further info on Timothy Harris b-1852 d-1913. I know he is buried at Busselton Pioneer Cemetery, but can find no other records. I would like to know if he had two sisters Fanny b-1845 and Mary b-1869 and what became of them. Also information about his mother?

Hi Trina, this is some info I have on Timothy Harris, b. in Yunderup via Busselton, d. BEF 1914. Listed by Bates (Bates 111 2b page 24) as born at Yunderup via Busselton having the moiety of MANITCH 1/4 caste belonging to the Bibbulmun Nation . Tindale (sheet 38 ) states that according to Emma Calyun Timothy Harris is Australian and does not have Negro blood, and Caroline Mullaney has American Negro blood. Partner Kundagatch. Partner Caroline Mullaney, in Not Married, b. ABT 1852 in Busselton, d. 1901, Caroline: 1/4 Negress. (see also Tindale sheet 38 & DIA Family Tree. Unfortunately I have no info and Mary and Fanny only by what I have seen in the Nyungar Tradition Book. and no info on his mother... I hopr this can give you more to go by.
