Looking for information on biological family of my adopted grandfather.Adopted out of the Willows Maternity sanitarium on May 24th 1919 Jackson county Missouri.Born Oct 18, 1918 Birth Name Dewey Patterson. Adopted name Robert Dewey Riddle.
Mother was 20 years old at the time, making her birth some time in 1898

Do you know anything more on his mother or father? You have her age, does it give her name? Was he given any "family" information by his adoptive parents?

No idea on her name.family lore has it that his biological mother died in childbirth, but now that I know more of the Willows I believe that was only to save her honor.

I'm hoping there are Pattersons out there searching for lost offspring.
