I saw in the book [Joe Browns Pets] at the Washington Library in Macon that a LT. Stephen Boney fought at Grisswoldville in the 7th GA MIlitia company I. This is the same company as Capt John Cravey however he was listed as a private.Does anyone know how Stephen was related to Mary Jane the wife of Joshua Cravey? Also how old was he during the war. Also is stephen burried in the same cemetary as Mary Jane and Cullen?

Few additional notes on last two photos. The Cravey Plot: The stone in the rear center is Sarah. In front of her, on the right is George. To George's left is Cullen with the Confederate flag and the flat white stone (his Confederate marker). The two stones in the front are not readable.. The footstone on the left is either "GLC or CLC" and the right is definately "MMC"...(All five have footstones......)

Right next to these Cravey stones is one for Mary M. McCrimmons (June 13, 1811/Dec 04, 1904). After Cullen Boney and his wife Pheby Williams; Mary M. appears to be the oldest one buried here...Have not ID'd this Mary M. McCrimmons??????????

Photos:
#04669--closeup-- Mary M. McCrimmons' headstone

#04670--Mary M. McCrimmons' headstone and footstone (footstone says "M. M. McM."

The entire cemetery area (about 50 or 60 feet square???) is covered in cement or concrete.....There is a fence all the way around cemetery... only the side with the gate is not over grown......

More soon, Bill

Bill, thanks for the info on the Boneys. I could not open the first two photos but the last two opened right up. I have been to the cemetary in the photos. I went last spring and put the Confederate Flag on Cullens Grave. I would like to have a picture of Stephen Boneys grave if you have one to send. I ran out of film when I was there and dont think I got a picture of it. Also try to send the first two photos again and maybe i can open them.
Thanks Charles

This is a correction to a post I made to this thread ref the Boney and Cravey Families....
Martha E. Cravey, dau. of David Sr. and Susannah (Studstill) Cravey had two husbands as in my post but the correct order of those marriages should be 1) Felix Fussell on January 05, 1848 and 20 Ira Knoles on September 06, 1866. Both amrriages took place in Telfair Co., GA.

From the center of Jacksonville, GA, go west (to Rhine) 6.7 miles on GA 117. Turn left onto a dirt road and go 0.4 miles. A trail to the right leads to the cemetery (0.1 miles). You'll see an old house on the left side of the dirt road just about across from the trail on the right..Can't see the cemetery from the dirt road. be looking for a clump of brush and small trees.....

I have info. on Robert W. Jones. I want to make sure this is the same person before I post allot of uncessary info. There are actually 2 Robert Jones in my family, Sr. and Jr. My GG Grandfather was Jesse C. Jones, Robert's brother. They were both in the Civil War together. They were both in 49th Georgia Regiment, Company B, Telfair Co. Volunteers.
If this is the same person, please let me know and I will be happy to share information with anyone interested.
