Hourihane Y-DNA and A-DNA projects

I just submitted a request to FTDNA for a Hourihane DNA project.

The project would be focused geographically on Co Cork and Munster, Ireland, and on names such as Hourihane, Hourican, Horrigan, Horgan, Horan, and the Americanized Irish Howard. Men with these surnames are invited to take a Y-DNA test, and anybody with these names anywhere in their direct ancestry can take the A-DNA (Family Finder) test.

Once the project is OK'd there will be more details on the project page. http://www.ftdna.com

This project launched in late August. The participation of Hourigans and Horrigans would be most welcome !
