Iam looking from any information for the Patrick Mulhall Family. Patrick was married to Anna Delaney. I know that they had at least to children. John Mulhall my grandfather born June 12 1864 who married Elizabeth Brennan, of Gortean Kilkenny on October 23 1892 in Mayo Queens County Ireland. John had a brother name Edward who was born in 1865. John has on his death certificte that he was born in Mayo, Queens county Ireland. I don't know if Mayo is a parish or not. It is also listed that his son Patrick was born in 1895 in Mayo Queens county Ireland. Another son Edward was born in Ballickmoyler in 1898. Patrick Mulhall was possibly a lighthouse keeper in the early 1800s at Barrenjoey, Palm Beach, northern Sydney. He was the first settler at Wagstaffe Point (named after the person he sold his holding to) (AKA Kourung Gourung) near the entry to Brisbane Water NSW. Cf the Bouddi History Project (on CD ROM). Mulhall grew veggies etc. and had a basic cottage, included in a Census in the mid 1800s (cf Gosford City Council Local Studies Collection).

Actually the first lighthouse keeper at Barrenjoey was George Mulhall. The second part of the previous reply appears to be correct.
