I am looking for the parents of Theodosia “Dossie” Land born 1861 in Tennessee, married to James A. Goddard who was born December 1858 also in Tennessee. They were living in Rhea County, TN in 1900 with four children, Clara Bertha Goddard, Della Goddard (ca 1890) Claude Goddard May 1893 and Mack Goddard October 1895.

I show a Sarah Theodosia Land married to (until now) an unknown Goddard in my files. Her parents were James and Rhoda K. Plemons Land. James died sometime about 1893 at the age of 100 and Rhoda was living with Sarah's sister Jane Malinda A. Norris in 1900 and 1910 census. Rhoda lived to age 95 and died on 5 July 1915 in Dayton, Rhea Co., TN. We have a copy of her death certificate. Will gladly share any info I have with you.
