I am trying to locate Bottstown, West Manchester Twp. York County, PA. Valentine Heyd supposed to have owned land there.

Whether it was as far west as west of Richland Avenue and in part of the current fairgrounds or was as far east as Hartley and Penn is unclear to me. Did you get any answers about the location and boundaries of Bottstown? It was definitely more or less centered on Market Street and was west of the Codorus.

according to the Gazateer of York and Adams Counties, PA published by SCPGS ... Bottstown was a real estate development by Hermanus Bott, beginning just west of Hartley Street. Land deeded to Bott in 1762 mentions 279 acres 96 perches.

This is now a part of York, Pennsylvania annexed in the last half of the 1800's. As best as I can determine, it was west of the Codorus Creek to Richland Avenue, between what is now Philadelphia and King Streets.
