Thomas came to Wash, DC in 1853 from Armagh, Ire. He strarted a brick manufacturing co. on S. Capitol St. His brother James joined him in 1860 from Pitsburg, PA. I am interesting in knowing where in Armagh they lived and if there is family there. Would love to contact them.

Jamie, Did not see this, sorry. No my Thomas Martin arrived in Philidelphia then moved to DC, was a brick manufacturer with his brother, James, married a Mary Jane Storey and died in DC in 1907. He never moved out of DC to my knowledge. His son James b. 1869 took over the business. James was my grandfather. Good luck, Bonnie
