Surnames: Jarrett
I know that many list him as the son of James and Matilda Jarrett but I can't find any proof of this.

I am hoping someone has some evidence for who his family might be.

Thx, Barbara

JAMES B/5-1-1790 (GREENBRIER CO)AND h/w MATILDA HAD CLARK B/1819 ON PAINT CREEK IN KANAWHA CO WV. I NEVER FOUND THAT THEIR CHILDREN EVER HAD ANY FIRST AND SECOND NAMES.
CLARKS SON
CLARK MORRISON WAS B 6-24-1853 D/ 1937 BEACH GLENN NICHOLAS CO. WV. H/W WAS JANE OSBORNE

JAMES AND MATILDA ARE MY GG GRANDPARENTS HE WAS THE SON OF OWEN JARRETT AND MARY DORAN. THEY ARE BURIED IN THE FAMILY CEMETERY ON PAINT CREEK KANAWHA CO WV AT AN OLD R/R STOP CALLED NUCKELS. I HAVE BEEN THERE

YOU JUST CAN'T TRUST MANY OF THE LISTINGS. THE ONLY REAL PROOF COMES FROM OFFICAL RECORDS LIKE STATE,CO AND CHURCH RECORDS.

Yes, I usually am pretty diligent about checking sources. That is why I am wondering about Clark. I have never found any proof of who his parents are. I never found a birth listing or marriage proof listing his parents. Maybe you have something as proof? I have the picture of the gravestone of Clark and his wives. Is that the cemetery you are talking about? He is also a great grandparent of mine. My mother lives in and around Paint Creek growing up. I guess you are my cousin!
