Victoria? Looking for the (possible) marriage of Elsie Violet Myrtle RAYSON who married Jack DAVIES - there is a 1930 entry in Queensland (#001150) Jack DAVIES but bride's name is Elsie LAWSON not Elsie RAYSON
Elsie and Jack had 1 son Hugh DAVIES - not known when/where Hugh was born.

Mother Annie RAYSON died in Victoria June 1956 - ashes at Fawkner Cemetery (Death notice - The Argus: Annie Matilda, from 6 The Righi, Ivanhoe, wife of Stanley Rayson, loved mother of Elsie Mrs J. A. Davies, mother-in-law of Jack, grandmother of Hugh).

Hi Mgt,
If you were using Ancestry to search for the marriage it wouldn't show as Ancestry VIC Marriage Index only goes to 1920..

If using VIC BDM the spelling (eg. Jno for John) might have been the issue.

Annie Marie Matilda FLEMING nee STARK, Herbert Llewellyn FLEMING & family were in VICTORIA by 1889.
Stanley and Annie appear to have had another child Allan, registered 1905 in VICTORIA; the Mother recorded as Annie FELSTON.
Stanley was a son of Herbert Llewellyn FLEMING's sister Ruth FLEMING and Henry RAYSON and had siblings named Elsie and Alan.
Annie M. RAYSON (cremated) FAWKNER Cemetery 25th June 1956.
Stanley married Malvina JAMES 1911; Stanley, Malvina and Alan RAYSON were buried at BENDIGO Cemetery.
