Have very little info on this family... but am seeking information on a Louis/Lewis who m Jane Hagerman. She brough to the marriage an ill. son Joseph b 1796 Gananoque Ont... she later married Mr. Bissonette, and probably had issue with him. I later found a Louis Bissonette (b 1843) living Plantagenet North Twp. Prescott County residing Con. 9 lot 1 (settled 1852)... this is possibly a grandson... There is also a Jinny Bissonette residing Con. 2 Lot 17 Front of Escott Twp. Leeds Co. (b 1831).. possibly another grandchild. Can anyone add to?... Thanks
A souvenir album of the 100th anniversary of "la Paroisse St-Victor d'Alfred 1871-1971 list a Pierre Bissonnette, de St-Polycarpe as being a new parishoner. I believe this man was a brother to my grandfather Léonidas. I have no other details as I am only beginning my research.
Hello, I am curious about this Leonidis Bissonnette. Some say he may be Napoleon Bissonnette. My gggrandfather Napoleon was born in 1842 in Ste. Hyacinthe, Quebec. He married Mary Rose LaPalm(e). They lived in Mass. for a while where some of their 11 children were born. My grandmother Laura Velma Bissonnette Purnia was born in Toledo, OH. Napoleon died 2/17/1900 in Toledo, OH and is supposed to be buried south of Toledo. I cannot locate his grave, but I am still trying. His wife's death cert says St. Rose de Lima in Perrysburg, OH, but they say no. Well, if you have any info, I'd really like to hear from you. I will of course share what I have if you want it. Thanks, Cheryl
Hi Cheryl, Leonidas was the son of Pierre and Sophie Raby and was born in St.Polycarpe Quebec. I do not have further information with me as I am wintering in Mexico. If you contact me in April I could give you more imformation.
Hello. I have found some info re: Napoleon Bissonnette from St. Hyacinthe. He may (99.9% sure) be Louis Phillipe Napoleon Bissonnette. But I was wondering is he is related to Leondis or if you had any info on a Louis Phillipe Nap........ in your data base. He was married to Mary Rose Lapalme and he died in 4/1900 in Toledo, OH. I have some info and I can share what I have, but I may have found Napoleon's dad who was Louis P. Bissonnette DOB abt. 1826 m. Marie Louise Charron DOB 8/5/1822 b. St. Charles, Quebec in Enasburg, Franklin Co., Vermont. Still up in the air if this is correct. Louis P's parents were Louis Bissonnette and Marie Louise Girard she was born in St. Charles, Sur Richelieu, Quebec. Does any of this info show up in your data base. My actual e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org
. Thanks for your time.

hi. not sure if you're still looking for information on the Séguin family. my great grandmother was Lucrece Séguin sister of Armantine. Armantine was married to William (Bill) Picard; I have a picture of them 2 together. They may have had a daughter Cecile (Beauvais); picture of Bill w/ little girl named Cecile. Armentine's parents were Napolean Séguin (dob April or July 15, 1851) and Césarine Gatien (dob Dec. 28, 1872); they married May 3rd 1892 in Casselman, ON.
Lucrese Séguin (Armantine's sister) married William Charette October 26, 1914 in Moose Creek, ON; they were my grand mother's parents. I have not been very lucky finding info on William Charette. If you need more info, maybe I can help. The pictures I've mentioned are on a vhs tape.
Would your husband know/remember anything about William Charette?
