Hi Everyone,

I have little information about Him but here is what I have :

KNOWN FIRST NAME : William Henry

KNOWN FAMILY NAME : Ninnis

RESIDENCE : Ravenswood. North Queensland.

SPOUSE / WIFE / MARRIAGE DETAILS.

WIFE'S KNOWN FIRST NAMES : Ada. Minnie.

WIFE'S KNOWN FAMILY NAME : Richards

DATE OF MARRIAGE : the 3rd of September 1904

PLACE OF MARRIAGE : Ravenswood.

PARENTS

KNOWN MALE PARENT : JAMES RICHARDS

KNOWN BORN : Cambourne. Cornwell. England.

KNOWN FEMALE PARENT : EMMA EAD

KNOWN BORN : Blissland. Cornwall. England.

I am looking for full on Volunteer Researchers who have the part time or full time commitment to begin what will probably be a long hard slog, unassisted. If you are interested please reply to this Topic / Post. My Topic Posts in Ancestry will be patchy due to ongoing ill health.

See my other posts in other parts of the Ancestry Dot com Forums, I've only "just" begun, with a "Legion Long List" of Family's to Research.

If you can almost work unaided and unsupervised as a Volunteer Researcher on this tree, you can contact me by my ancestry dot com known email.

Thank You one and all for your assistance. God Bless, and cheers for now.

warm and kind regards, to all.
john.

hi j ohn, sorry for the delay getting back to you ,we have had a lot on. anyway getting back to the ninnis family, my grandmothers sister who is still alive in her eighties has told us a bit about them, but some of her information is not quite right as she said on arrival in melbourne they then left for ravenswood by coach via adelong where one of their children were born but i have found there was other children bor there a few years later, i have heard that some of the ninnis tribe stayed in melbourne while the others left to go to adelong and then ravenswood, ihave afew death certificates which also shows them at the blue mountains, one interesting thing she told me that we had a relative who died in antarctica , i have an old piece of paper with family addresses of many of themon it which also mentions afamily member who died at antarctica but i dont know if this is true,i can send you the certificates if you like and would love to talk to you more . I was also on a family history site on the net and came across aninnis family site which i am sure was our family and it had already gone back to the 16.00 s. but as i am not very good with computers i did not save the site and have not been able to find again, anyway it would be great to hear from you,

Yes Belgrade Ninnis was in charge of the dog sled and supplies in Antarctica. A distant relative of mine so we have to be related. My mother was the last of the Ninnis names as my grandparents only had daughters. This is all quite interesting :-)
