Hello all Dreibelbis cousins.
I have the John Jacob Dreibelbis Family of America 1732-1990 book. Slowly I'm uploading it to

http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com.

I have it in the database named DREIBELBIS and set it up so you can download it.

There are mistakes and I would love to hear from anyone that has corrections I can make. I haven't been able to find any more copies of the book on the internet anywhere. You are welcome to the information.

I descend from:
Jacob Treibelbiss b. 1678
John Jacob Treibelbis b. 1709
Abraham Dreibelbis b.1749
Abraham Dreibelbis b.1772
Jacob T. Dreibelbis b.1800
Abraham E. Drivelpiece b.1824
(found this spelling in 1850 PA census)
William James Trivelpiece b.1846 d.1904
Alice Louella Trivelpiece b.1880 d.1966
Lowell Clowers b.1901 d. 1967
Alice Clowers b.1924 d.1998
Linda Mattila (me)

If your family member has a photo in the book, I'll be happy to scan it and email it to you. You can find me and my email address over in the WorldConnect site.

Happy Hunting To You All!

I was delighted to find this posting. From the first that I heard of the book "John Jacob Dreibelbeis Familly of America 1732-1990," I have been trying to find a copy to buy. Could you provide more detail about the price and availability of a copy. Thanks so much, cousin.

My relationship to the Dreibelbeis Family is as follows:
Marilyn Miller Jaissle (b)1945-
Marilyn's Father: Carl Seneca Breyfogel Miller (b)1913-
Carl's Father: George Clarence Miller (b)1883
George's Mother: Ellen E. Breyfogel (b)1853
Ellen's Father: Seneca Peters Breyfogel (b)1823
Seneca's Father: George Dreibelbeis Breyfogel (b)1782
George's Mother: Catherine B. Dreibelbeis Ely (b)1745 (George Breyfogel was the second husband of Catherine)
Catherine's Father: John Jacob Dreibelbeis (b)1709.

Its exciting to find long, long, long lost cousins. Hope you're all well.
Marilyn

Hi. I married into the family & this is the first time I've looked this up. I'm too busy looking up my own heritage...
ANYWAY, I was looking at the info that you're downloading & I have a question. My father in law is a William Issac, his dad was also, but I'm not sure if my father in law is a jr or what. I noticed that there was a William Issac that you had downloaded...do you have any info on his children? I have no clue if we'd be part of that line, but it's worth checking, I guess!
Thanks!

Linda:

Have you heard of any of your Dreibelbis' marry a Worthington? Doing my research I found a great, great uncle Charles Worthington who married a Jennie Drebelbess (Dreibelbis). Her birth may have been btw 1840 and 1850.

Thank you for your time and consideration. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Linda I put a post-em under Nelson Polk/Margaret Dreibelbis listing some more information for you. My line is Nelson, Charles>. I have more information on that line if you are interested. I am currently researching Nelson Polk, trying to find ancestors, but not having much luck as I don't have a birth location other than PA, and don't know his birth year. I can be reached at N_Polk@msn.com.
