Hi
My grandmother was Mamie Havener. She died when my father was young,so I didn't know her. She was born 6/26/1881 and died 4/25/1925. She married James Kille in Asheville, NC. She had younger sisters Fannie, Bertie and Nelle. Two of them lived in Bristol TN. I don't know anything else about them. If anyone knows anything to help get me started, I would appreciate it.

The Havener's in my family start with James D. Havener who married Rachel Cox. He died in 1881. Their children were William Thomas 1826-1905 who married Elizabeth Hitchenson, Benjamin Havener who was born in 1827, Samuel Havener, born in 1831, Lucinda Havener, born in 1827, Wesley W. Havener, born in 1834, John Jonathon Havener, born in 1839, Randolph Havener, born in 1841, Joseph Carper Havener, born in 1843, Mary J. Havener and James M. Havener born in 1846. The family started out in Maryland and migrated toward Ohio. I don't know if your relatives are connected to mine, but I found there weren't that many Havener's around back then. Also watch out for change of last name spellings, the family seemed to do that at one time or another. Hope this helps you get a starting point. Good Luck with your research

My Havener line includes a Mary Catherine Havener who married John Craynon. Mary was born June 9, 1855 and was the daughter of William Havener and Susan Eiford. Could this be your William? Mary is buried Barren Fork Cemetery in McCreary Co., KY. She passed Dec. 22, 1941 of a stroke. That's all the info I have on her personally; however, I do have their children on down. I'm interested in the family history prior to 1855 including parents and siblings. Can you help?

Thanks in advance.

Just started research, believe to be descendant of Dominic Havener. Found Domenic Sr, Dominic Jr, James, Benjamin, Pearl to be most logical branch. Benjamin Havener and Ellen Smith Havener are definately in immediate tree...unsure after that. Any info you can send would be great!
