I have been searching my family tree and found someone who had a HUGE file on Minger's. I would be happy to send you the file. The beginning of the file goes back to Hans Minger born in 1598 or about in Switzerland. The file is about 347 pages, but as many people that are in the family I am sure we are all related. It is pretty current so if you are interested please let me know.

I have a great-grandmother named Anna B. Minger who married Charles Leasure. They lived in the Monroe County, Ohio area. Any relation? They had a lot of kids, the oldest named Susan (married name at death was Corll - married at least twice I think), and the youngest Dorotha (or Dorothy) Lucille (married Valentine Eureka - my grandparents).

Hi, Melissa. Does the Minger file include a John (Johannes) Minger, b. 1827, in Bern, Switzerland? (Note that there are plenty of John Mingers, from Bern, to go around!). This man had at least 3 children: John, Godfrey/Fred, and Bill. No info on wife or other children. John, etc., came from Switz. (dt unkn) & lived in area called Dutch Ridge, near Sardis, OH. Would greatly appreciate any info. Thanks.

Dear Melissa:

I would be very pleased to get the file you mentioned. I am a descendent of Hans Minger.

Can the file be sent electronically (PDF, Word, scanned images) or would it be in hardcopy? I would send you money for the postage.

Hi David Nixon. In your MINGER (Hans) tree, is there a Charles Frederick "Fred" MINGER (aka Godfrey), b. about 1852, maybe in OH? Death dt unkn. Maybe buried in Wheeling, WV. First marriage in 1880 to Rosa McGillan, sons Charles & Edward. Second marr. to Cynthia Jane Emmons Conley in 1886; sons George, Clarence, Leslie. Thanks for any help offered.

Melissa, I am also a Minger related to the Florida Mingers from Westville, FL. If you still have access to the file, can you email me a copy. I believe We are related to Charles Fredrick. I have a few pictures and information but can not tie it all together.
