William Wesley Pritchett married Helon Dalton in Marshall c. Al in 1887. Anyone researching Al Pritchetts. Their daughter Callie Pritchett was born 1900 in Sherwood (Franklin Co.?) Tn. So I assumed these Pritchetts went from Al to Tn then to Ga. Other Surnames: Dalton, Holder

My grandparents were Leroy Pritchett and Flora Gladys Guffey Pritchett
from Marshall County Al. Leroy was born June 16, 1908 and died
May 15, 1978. His parents were William Oscar Pritchett (8/19/1880-10/3/1974) and
Mittie Francis Wilcox Pritchett(1/25/1888-10/29/1956). They lived in Al and Ga.

I am related to the Pritchett family through my maternal grandmother. Her father was Thomas Pritchett, born about 1855, from Monroe County. I am interested in finding out which one of our family came over from Europe, and when. Perhaps we can establish a
relative in common.

Carolyn, Is Calhoun or Monroe county by Clarke Co. Or are you looking for Pritchetts that lived around Grove Hill, Covenant or by Tallahatta Springs. I had a map of that time I can't find it right now. The county lines kept being changed around those times to equal out the population. Sometimes they never moved but they were listed in different counties. My ancestors were Wm. Thomas PRITCHETT his father was Wm. PRITCHETT. Wm.married Mary Ann EDGAR and they had 11 children. Perhaps one of these could be related to you. Let me know. I'll be glad to share.
