There are alot of Sagos in Illinois and several in Detroit area. email me if you are interested in finding out about our family tree. The name Sago is very uncommon so I know that there are other relatives out there. later!

Hello

I have Sago's in my family tree. My grandmother was a Sago. Her name was Mabel Sago. She married James Sanders. She was born April 17, 1931 in Stephensport, Kentucky and died January 6, 1993 in Mattoon, Illinois. I have quite a bit of info on the Sago's (not a lot, but a pretty good amount) from the Kentucky area. I have gotten behind a brick wall on them, lol. Yes, I know that the Sago name is VERY uncommon and it is very difficult to find information on them. My great-grandfather was Michael "Mike" Sago. He was born December 6, 1870 and died January 29, 1951. He married Myrtle Horsley, daughter of Albin Horsley and Harriet Haycraft. Michael was the son of Abraham Sago and Johanna Roach. Abraham was the son of Michael and Ann Sago.

I would be glad to exchange info with you. Feel free to email me at blakem1@one-eleven.net

It is good to see another Sago on here. I am interested in Glenn's family, and anyone else who would like to share. I have a lot of information about Sagos and we are all related. Anyone who would like to contact me is welcome to do so. I am compiling everything into an easily readable format with pictures.
Currently, I am looking for a living relative, Brian Sago. He was in Minnesota last year but I found out too late. Anyone who knows where he is? He is a school teacher--an art teacher.

Thanks.

Are there other Indians that are American with Sago name? We got divided during the old wars. My Great Grandpa took some kids to Upper Canada. So the story goes.

Hello, I'm a Sago from Oregon, living in SW Michigan. I would love to know more about the Sago name, as I know nothing of my paternal heritage. Any info greatly appreciated.
