You probably already knew this but definitely from Poland or Russia.

Our family records indicate this name is from Poland, what my great-grandfather called a high-Polish name. In our family the name was originally Manicki and was changed to Manitzki and Manitski in the U.S.

Does anyone have any information about a woman named Carol Lucille Manicki, who lived in Chicago around 1962, and was born around 1940?
