DANIEL: Estridge DANIEL came to KY in 1789 with his father, Thomas DANIEL Sr., and brothers, John, who md Rebecca TIPTON 15 Aug 1797 in Montgomery Co,, Thomas Jr., who md Sarah CAMBEL, Estridge, who md Mary Samantha FOX 1 Jan 1805 in Montgomery Co, and James who md Sarah ROBINSON. Thomas DANIEL Sr. and his sons were on Slate Creek when Montgomery Co was formed. All of the sons of Thomas were War of 1812 veterans. I have written several books on the Daniel family and have traced many descendents of the four sons of Thomas DANIEL Sr. to the present day. I have a huge database of information to share about these families but am always looking for more. I am also in contact with several descendants from each line.

I am seeking the names of the Parents of Charles C Daniel born 1815 in KY or VA and married Caroline Matthews in 1835 . His Father may of lived in Montgromery Co KY Do you have any info on this? Thanks

I have seen this family, but don't know anything about them earlier than Charles. I also have Daniels in Bath County. Isom Daniel md Mary Jane Pergram in 1839 in Bath County. they had: Narcissa (McNabb), James H., John C., Joseph, Leroy, Mary L. (Crouch), Emily (McNabb), and Luther C.

Hi Lana. I think you may have gotten ahold of some bad information. Someone submitted wrong data to Family Treemaker and such groups, saying that Estridge Daniel, father of Isom, was a son Thomas Daniel and grandson of Charles and Jane Mickelborough Daniel. This is incorrect. Estridge was a son of A Thomas Daniel, but not this Thomas. Our Thomas was b. ca 1750, married ca 1770, moved to Kentucky ca 1789, and to Illinois cs 1807, where he disappeared in 1821. His ancestry is a mystery, as far as I know, after a dozen years of searching. I am almost positive that he is not connected to the Middlesex County, VA Daniels in any way. He was more likely from the Caroline County, VA Daniel line. Another researcher tried to connect Estridge to a Reuben Daniel of Orange County, VA, of the Middlesex line, but that, too, is wrong.

I have Isom Daniel going back to William Daniel abt. 1630. Don't have a lot of extra info. on them though. Isom was my gr. gr. grandfather through the McNabbs. Lana
