I am looking for any information on Thomas Horton who married Matilda Craig in Benton County TN in 1868 with J.J. Presson Minister of the Gospel who married them. She was the widow of Asa Craig who died in Fayette County IL in December of 1860 and Asa and Matilda were married in Carrol County TN and moved to IL and then Mo. and then back to TN and then back to IL. After Asa Craig died in 1860 in IL, Matilda and a son from Asa moved back to TN where she met married Thomas Horton and then they moved again. Does anyone have any information on these folks? Thank you for your time.

Matilda G. (Lea) Craig was born abt. 1820 TN and married Asa Craig 12-16-1838 in Carroll County TN. They had children:

They were in Bond County IL in 1840 - in Carroll County TN in 1850 - in Benton County TN in 1860 and then in 1860 went to Fayette County IL where Asa Craig died December 1860. Hello, I am looking for the ancestors of a Sarah E. Craig and was wondering if maybe it may be same as yours since birthdate is around the time. The Sarah E. Craig I have is born in 1947 and married John William Murdock. Please let me know if you think there may be a connection or not. Thanks, Vickie
