Trying to trace relatives of Mary Alice Birkett (nee Kell) who emigrated in 1891 from South Shields C o. Durham England wit h her husband to Australia. Her sister Charlotte Day Batey also emigrated with them. My g?father George William Kell was a brother to these ladies.

Stanley Henry Hopetoun LOVITT husband Margaret Frances LINDSAY was still on Electoral Roll in NSW in 1980. It appears that Stanley married again after Margaret's death.

I will try and find William LINDSAY grandson of Georgina Day BATEY.

Minnie married second time in Australia in 1906 to Herbert Probert. Her first husband died in 1904 NSW.

Minnie with her husband and two daughters immigrated to Australia 1900 - daughters Norah Hodgson b; abt: 1897 and Marjorie b: 1899. Minnie and William had two other children before he died in Australia - Jane b: 1901 and William E b: 1904 - same year his father died.

Hi again

It appears that Mary Alice Birkett and her husband Andrew migrated to Brisbane Queensland in 1891 then it appears that Andrew Birkett committed suicide in 1905. I haven't found any children born to Mary and Andrew but am unable to access Qld BMD at moment so will double check. But as Mary's death notice didn't mention any children I would say they didn't have any.
