Hi all,

I'm looking for relatives of a Charles Joseph Stimpson who was killed in action during the First World War. His mother (Harriet Hall, previously married under the name Stimpson) lived up the road from my Great Aunt and Uncle Daphne and Colin Burns in Sand Road, Longwarry.

I'm not sure if they were related somehow or just friends.

Thanks,

Katie

Hi

Charles Joseph STIMPSON was born 1894 in Fitzroy North, one of eight children to Charles Frederick STIMPSON and Harriet THOMAS who married in 1883. Both parents were born at Ballarat.

Thank you Rhonda. Perhaps I should say living relative. I have something the family might be interested in.

Hi Katie

I have just come across this email in my search for Stimpson family information.
I believe the Charles J Stimpson you refer to was first cousin to my Grandfather Ernest Alfred Stimpson (who was son of William Henry, brother of Charles J's father Charles Frederick.
I am gradually compiling information on the Stimpsons and I would be happy to share if you have connections with the family.
I would be grateful for any information you may have that would be relevant to Charles J or the Stimpson Family.

Thanks

Chris
