Hi Mary Jane,

I have Martin & Burke family who resided in Jackson county, Butler Twp., Iowa circa 1850 to abt. 1858 or 1859. They then moved on to Kansas and are buried there.

I'm looking for the siblings and parents of my great grandmother, Catharine (nee) Martin, b. c. 1826, Ireland. Her brother Francis (Frank) Martin was b. c. DEC 1824 in Ireland.

I have census records for Iowa and Kansas, plus an Obit and Bio of the Burke line. Both records mention Catharine and some of the early history in Kansas. But I have next to nothing on Catharine and Frank Martin as far as parents and other siblings.

Can you please tell me what you have on the John W. Martin family? I appreciate any input you have to offer.

Thank you.
