I am doing a research article about a skrimish on Beech Creek, WV in Mingo County. The 4th WV Infranty was attacked by 34th Virginia Calavary under the command of V A Witcher.
Jacob C. Lineberry, he enrolled 12-12-1861 at Ceredo, WV, in an account by someone in the 4th states that he was from NC. I also know that his widow & 1 minor child filed for his war pension. If this fits into someones family please let know? I would like know something about these family before I print my article? Thanks for anyones help.

Surnames: Faddis, Lineberry
Was his wife (Elizabeth V. Faddis) and his children: Jeremiah Joseph Lineberry, Lorenzo Andrew Lineberry & Margaret E. Lineberry?? If so, what name was she using at the time of filing for a widows pension?? I'm researching a Faddis Family Book and having a problem finding Elizabeth in the 1870 Census Records. I've located the 3 children, but curious about their mother. Thanks, Zack
