Jeff -- I was in Glenwood this summer and visited the cemetery. I bought a copy of "Founded on Faith: A History of Glenwood, Utah, 1864-1984." The book contains a listing of the cemetery records, but it only lists the rows and not the spaces. I found your Lezet Ainsworth Cook right away, and there are two Cook infants adjacent to her listing. Unfortunately, the book is arranged alphabetically. The surnames in row 7 are Ainsworth, Beal, Bell, Cook, Hansen, Jackson, Jessen, Johnson, Johnson, Larsen, Oldroyd, Payne, Peterson, and Sorensen. The listing also notes that there are 3 unmarked graves in row 7. If you can give me anything else to go on, I would be happy to provide additional information. Feel free to contact me directly.

I have a relative, Lezet Ainsworth Cook, buried at Glenwood Cemetery, Sevier Co., Row 7 Space 7. She has 2 infants buried at Row 7, spaces 11 and 12. Can anyone tell me who's graves are spaces 8, 9 and 10? Thanks in advance.

Scott,
Could you please tell me if there is a Peter Hansen buried in the Glenwood Cemetery? He was born in 1796 in Denmark and I believe he died in Glenwood around 1865. His wife Anne Madsen is buried in Mt. Pleasant in 1883. Thank you so much!
Carole

Carole -- I checked the cemetery records in the back of my Glenwood book but could not find a Peter Hansen. The few Hansen's listed in the book are: Anders (1818-1903), Aurelia (1842-1919), Begetta (1819-1919), Charles (1850-1930), Harriet (1865-1904), Isaac (1874-1948), Niels (1877-1950), Sophia B. (1881-1943), Sophia S. (1879-1953), and Velva (1900-1902). Have you tried searching in the Utah Burials database online? Feel free to contact me directly at imiloa@prodigy.net if you have questions. --Scott Erickson
