I am one of the main researchers of the Davey
line that originated in St Neot St Cleer.
This line is back to the 1500's. If you think
you might be connected. Please contact me at

My husbands ggrandfather Frederick m Elizabeth nee Stirling, lived in Bradford, Yorkshire, but we don't know where they came from. There was a Frederick and Elizabeth Davey in the Frithelstock 1891 Census. Can you help. Susan Davey.

Hi Susan.
Sorry I can't help. Our Davey.s are all from St Neot and St Cleer in Cornwall. Are you indicating these ones are? If you want to discuss this some more, please e-mail me direct. Myra Davey.

Hi,
I realise it's been a long time since this thread began but am hoping you will see this Myra!
My great x4 GM was a Joanna Davey, b. c 1802 in Cornwall. She married Philip Hore in St Austell in 1820, had 8 children and died in St Austell in 1835. She MAY have been the daughter of Joseph Davey and Martha Keast of St Neot.
Do you think there may be a connection? Any information gratefully received!
Thank you
