Thank you for posting those! I have actually read both. I guess what I'm wondering is if there are any records of the boys who were placed there? One of my relatives was there in 1930 and I was wondering if there is more information somewhere. :) Thank you!!!

Well there would be records...if the Father Baker system meaning the Church doesn't have them then the City of Buffalo would. Contact the City Clerk, it may cost money. Are you in Buffalo or do you live elsewhere.

My cousin wrote a letter of inquiry to Father Baker's and received a nice, as complete as possible reply on the status of our grandfather regarding his being there in 1910.
It may help and the only cost was a stamp.

Try contacting Rev. Msgr. Paul J.E. Burkard, he took over from Msgr. Wurtz who helped my cousin.
