The township of Dellona is located in the north section of Sauk County, the township of Reedsburg and Baraboo are just south of Dellona.

The Dellona Center Cemetery Assoc. in the Town of Dellona met on October 27,1856. Ralph Higgins was voted chairman and Caleb Cook as Secratary. Caleb was also named a Trustee.

It's a small cemetery and was no longer used about 1900 or earlier. I have a list of the people buried there and Caleb nor Mary are listed.

I have all the Sauk County cemeteries and the people buried in them and can not find Caleb.

Sorry.

HELLO THERE! INDEED....YOUR CALEB AND MARY DO HAVE MARKED GRAVES!! THEY ARE BOTH BURIED AT THE WALNUT HILL CEMETERY IN BARABOO, SAUK CO., WI...ALONG WITH SEVERAL OTHER COOK'S, TWO OF WHICH ARE PROBABLY THEIR SON, A. BYRON COOK & MYRA L COOK, WHO COULD BE A. BYRON'S WIFE.

IT LOOKS LIKE CALEB'S WIFE, MARY AMELIA, MAY HAVE FUDGED A LITTLE ABOUT HER AGE TO THE CENSUS TAKERS, SINCE SHE ACTUALLY DIED IN 1903 [NOT AFTER 1908] AT THE AGE OF ALMOST 84, WHICH WOULD MAKE HER DATE OF BIRTH MORE IN THE RANGE OF 1819-20 INSTEAD OF 1824!

HERE IS THE WEBSITE WHERE YOU CAN VIEW THIS INFORMATION:

I DID CHECK FOR TOMBSTONE PICTURES AT THE FIND A GRAVE SITE, HOWEVER THEY WEREN'T LISTED. WALNUT HILL CEMETERY IS VERY LARGE. I LIVE ABOUT APPROXIMATELY 30 MILES FROM IT. WE SHOP IN BARABOO ABOUT EVERY WEEKEND. I COULDN'T PROMISE YOU, BUT THIS SUMMER WHEN THE WEATHER IS NICE, AND IF I CAN GET THE TIME, I COULD TRY TO FIND THE GRAVES TO TAKE A PHOTO FOR YOU. I STILL WORK FULL TIME, SO MY WEEKENDS ARE PRETTY HETIC.

HOPE THIS IS OF SOME HELP TO YOU.
