I have corresponded with people researching this family. I will contact them and tell them to get in touch with you.
Could you tell me what information your Bible contains about Otis Capehart?
Thanks, Jack Capehart
Otis Capehart and Marvie Jones were married June 9, 1907.
A William Otis Capehart was born Oct. 14, 1884.
Lovise Badric(?) Capehart was born Oct. 5, 1908.
If this is the family you are looking for, I'll be glad to send you the Bible.
My gr-grandfather, John Thomas Capehart, had a half-brother named William T. Capehart who moved to Oklahoma. Information I have says he was born in 1878 in Freestone county Texas and married Serena Lee on 10 Nov 1901.
Their father's name is John T. Capehart, born about 1845 in Texas. William T.'s mother was Sarah J Talley. They were married 14 Nov 1872.
If any of this fits in, I'd love to get whatever else you may have. In particular, I'm looking for John T.'s parents. We've been trying to figure out his parents for years.

This is all that is in the Bible. A friend of mine purchased a box full of unseens at an auction , and this bible was one of the items in the box. She knew I did genealogy and gave it to me hoping it might end up in the correct family. The auction was held in Jefferson county, OK, which is just across Red river from TX. There are several different handwritings, some are in ink and some in pencil.
I hope this helps.
I've looked at everything I can think of to find the link, but I can't find it. But I'll keep looking!
Thanks for trying,
