My "Name Variation" anomaly

My "Name Variation" anomaly

I have checked the "name var" tag box in SS. I find that the name variation is included in the "name index" but when I click on the name and get to the person page there is no reference to the name variation. Anyone visiting the site might think they had been routed to the wrong person.
e.g. url of my site is http://www.jamesmilne-generations.dsl.pipex.com/index.htm.
John Alexander Grant and Leopald Grant are the same person but there is no mention of Leopald Grant being a name variation.
Could someone please tell me why the Name Variaton sentence not showing on my site?

Name tag processing is described on this help page, right at the top. Read that, and if doesn't explain what is happening for you, get back to me.

John,
TMG = Name-Var Sentence structure (Default)
(As of [D],) [P] was also known as [N] ([M])
(I have had to replace the angled brackets in the above sentence with curved brackets in order for this post to be accepted)
SS = Primary tags only, not checked. Nam-Var, checked.

OK, the sentence is not excluded. Is the tag sentence missing for everyone, or most people, or?

One thing you should try is Optimizing the project in TMG (FIle > Maintenance > Optimize). Try that and let me know if changes it.
