It has been over 10 years since this post, but hopefully you will see my reply.
My GGG Grandmother is Mary Ester Edick and until recently I have not been able to find any Edick connections to Montgomery County New York where her first born son of John I Schram was baptised. I believe John Schram & Mary Ester Edick were married either in Schenectidy NY or Ft. Plain NY (near Stone Arabia (a known Palitinite settlement). John Schram's ancestors came to America in 1709 with the Palatine folks from London and I see entries in Henry Jones book The Palarine Families of New York of the Ittig name. I believe my GGG Grandmother's original name was Ittig and at some time was Anglicised to Edick. I have also seen it spelled as Edict. Mary Ester Edick was born c 1790 in New York, she died 1861 in Genesee County Michigan and where the family moved in 1835 from Adams, Jefferson County NY.
Anyway if any of this sounds familiar to your Ittig family, please contact me.
