I am trying to locate as many descendants of Adam Hays as possible.
Adam lived his life in Carlisle, Cumberland Co PA. His children were: Lacey (mar Joseph Connolly), Henry (mar Isabella Carothers),
Charity (mar William Kennedy) Adam, John (mar Mary Gregg), George (mar Sarah Thompson), Joseph (mar Ann Gordon), and Nathan (mar Theodosia Chapline). We are
putting together a "Cousins Party" (reunion sounds too boring! lol) of all of his family that we can find. If you think you may be related to this family, please contact me at
intrstrace@eohio.net.

Thanks,
Judy Hayes-Barnes

Nyla,
I wish I could tell you I had your Mary Gregg, but the Mary Gregg who married John Hays (Son of Adam b 1703) would have been too old. John Hays died before 1796. However, I do find something rather interesting. I live in Jefferson Co OH and the school system I attended had a grade school known as John Gregg Elementary. Also, with Belmont Co being right next door, it could be you need to look in Jeff. Co too. You can email me at intrstrace@eohio.net if you'd like for me to look something up for you in this area. Happy Hunting, Judy
